Hulstein Excavating is expected to begin construction of Phase A of the North Central Stormwater, Phase 2 project.  Phase A includes the area of Seneca Street from the 1136/1137 residences south to 10th Street.

During the coming days, impacted residents can expect driveways, curb, and roadway pavement to be removed in preparation of storm sewer and watermain construction.  Residents located within Phase A will need to make alternate parking arrangements as driveways will not be accessible during construction.

Should residents have or develop special and/or medical needs during the time of construction, please contact Josh Pope to discuss alternative transportation.

Construction of Phase A of the North Central Phase 2 project will be commencing on the morning of Monday, May 22, 2017.  As you can see on the attached map, this phase will require the closing of the south half of Seneca Street.  This phase will include construction of storm sewer, a small section of water main, concrete pavement, and pervious pavers.  During this phase, no parking or access to driveways will be allowed within the phase limits. Please park in non-affected areas during the duration of this phase.  The schedule of this project depends on both the contractor and the weather.  As such, we can only speculate that this phase will be done in around 5 weeks.  Should you have any questions or concerns during construction, please feel free to contract me,  Jonathan De Graaf on my cell phone (712) 363-5680.

Thank you for your patience as we go about this project.
