Seneca Street is now fully open to traffic. Some construction activities are still taking place between the curb and the sidewalk, but residents will have full access to their properties. Turf restoration should take place next week. 
Temporary watermain has been placed in Spooner Street and is expected to be utilized next week for each residence. As these pipes are your temporary water source, residents are asked to not disturb any pipes on the surface.  Replacement of the water pipes and construction of new storm sewer pipes are expected to take approximately 2 weeks and will be followed by preparation of the roadway base. 

Smith Concrete is nearing completion of paving Seneca Street. Pervious pavers are expected to be installed next week. Turf restoration is also expected to begin next week on all of Seneca street and the South half of Spooner Street.  Although the road may look usable, it is an active construction zone. We ask that residents continue to avoid using the road to ensure public safety.  

Hulstein Excavating is expected to begin removals of North Spooner Street around the middle of September. During the coming days, impacted residents can expect driveways, curb, and roadway pavement to be removed as preparation for storm sewer and watermain construction. This phase of construction is expected to last through October.

Hulstein Excavating has completed the underground utility installation on Phase B and is preparing for paving. Smith Concrete is expected to pave the South half of Spooner Street early next week. This section of road is expected to be opened around the middle of August.
We ask that residents continue to remain off the road until traffic control has been removed by the contractor. Driving on the unfinished roadway can cause delays in opening  

Smith Concrete Services has completed the critical paving operations on Seneca Street. Pervious pavers are expected to be installed in the first week of July. The completion of the paving operations as well as any sidewalks and driveways will be replaced during this time as well. Turf restoration is expected to take place within 2 weeks of the road opening.

Although Seneca street appears to be paved, we ask that residents remember this is an active construction zone. Driving on new concrete before the road is open can cause the concrete to crack and need to be replaced further pushing back the open date. Please continue to avoid the construction zone until all traffic control barricades are removed by the contractor.

The South half of Spooner Street (Phase B) is expected to be closed on the week of July 10. Door hangers will be provided to residents prior to the closing of Spooner Street. Removal of the old roadway followed by water main replacement will start once traffic control devices are in place.

Hulstein Excavating has completed the rock base installation for Phase A.
Paving operations will commence this week. They plan to complete paving the
road this week with pervious pavers and driveways to follow closely behind.

Hulstein Excavating has completed the utility installation for Phase A including water main and storm sewer. They plan to grade the road base early this week with sub-drain to follow.

Residents should keep in mind that this is an active construction site that maybe hazardous to enter. To cross the street, please go around the project eitherto the South or the North.  

Hulstein Excavating is expected to install watermain and perform residential service connections on Tuesday, May 30 for those residences within Phase A.  Phase A includes the area of Seneca Street from the 1136/1137 residences south to 10^th Street. 

During the day, all residents on Seneca Street between 10^th Street and 12^th Street can expect water service to be turned off for up to 2 hours at a time while the connections are made.  Residents with critical water needs may contact Josh Pope with any concerns.

Hulstein Excavating is expected to begin construction of Phase A of the North Central Stormwater, Phase 2 project.  Phase A includes the area of Seneca Street from the 1136/1137 residences south to 10th Street.

During the coming days, impacted residents can expect driveways, curb, and roadway pavement to be removed in preparation of storm sewer and watermain construction.  Residents located within Phase A will need to make alternate parking arrangements as driveways will not be accessible during construction.

Construction of Phase A of the North Central Phase 2 project will be commencing on the morning of Monday, May 22, 2017.  As you can see on the attached map, this phase will require the closing of the south half of Seneca Street.  This phase will include construction of storm sewer, a small section of water main, concrete pavement, and pervious pavers.  During this phase, no parking or access to driveways will be allowed within the phase limits.
